Dr. Thomas F. Mahar, DDS is a lifelong resident of Central New York. He grew up in Marcellus and attended Syracuse University. In 1990, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Thomas F. Mahar, DDS completed the general practice residency program at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center where he remains a member of the medical staff, sharing his experience and knowledge with the resident dentists.

Dr. Mahar maintains a commitment to excellence in dentistry. He believes that each patient should receive the highest level of dental care and customer service.

Dr. Mahar has received advanced training in several areas of dentistry with an emphasis on aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Mahar is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Onondaga County Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

When not in the office, Dr. Mahar enjoys spending time with his wife Suzanne Byrne Mahar, and children, Thomas III, Patrick, and Sarah.
