Meet Our Staff

Rebecca

I am a native of Central New York. I graduated from SUNY Delhi with a BA in Hotel and Resort Management. In 2009 I moved to Nevada, where I met my husband and his 2 children. In 2013 we decided to make the move back to New York and add 2 more to our family.

I have now been working in the dental field for three years. It is a very nice change from the hotel/restaurant world.

I started with Dr. Mahar's office in June of 2017 and have enjoyed meeting all the patients and working with such a great staff. I look forward to helping patients with any scheduling and insurance questions they may have.

Kathryn

I am a native of Central New York. I began working in the dental field in 2016 after completing a dental assisting program through the Dental Assisting school of Syracuse. Since then, I have also become a graduate of the dental hygiene program at Monroe Community College.

I was welcomed into Dr. Mahar's practice as a hygienist in July 2020. I am grateful to have found my forever office. My goal is to provide the best dental care to all of our patients and to help hem maintain their favorite smile!

During my free time, I enjoy knitting, being outdoors and spending time with my daughter.

Tammy

I am a graduate of Paul V. Moore High school with a major in English. I also have received a two year Associate degree in Dental Assisting from BOCES.

I recently started working for Dr. Mahar in February of 2021. I am proud to be working with such a wonderful group of people.

In my days I'm not at work I enjoy spending it with my family. I have a wonderful husband, daughter and son, and recently became a grandmother to my granddaughter.

I enjoy helping others and hope to continue to help patients with their dental needs.

Jessica

I was born and raised here in central New York. I started off my dental career as a certified dental assistant in 2014. After assisting in oral surgery for a few years, I went on to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. In 2018 I graduated from SUNY Broome.

I strive to give my patients a good dental experience through gentle cleanings and educating people on their oral health. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my German shepherd, hiking, or relaxing at home playing video games.
